A
7-member Governing Body of SVYM is elected annually from among the General
Body of SVYM members. The Governing Body meets once a month and take
important decisions related to governance. It also nominates a Chief
Executive Officer for the organization for a 3-year term. The CEO heads the
Development Support Team (DST). The present CEO is Dr. (Flt Lt) M.A.Balasubramanya.
Each
project in SVYM has a Project Holder, who looks after the activity, admin
and financial aspects related to that project. He/She has several
project-related staff working with him/her. A group of Project Holders are
guided by a Team Leader, who inturn is mentored by the Development Support
Team.
Each
chapter of SVYM is headed by a Convener.
